Sale? Apparently?

Hi lovely readers,

For some reason, Amazon put Out of Darkness on sale (The paperback version at least) for $7.51. That’s cool. So I’m sharing that information with y’all. In case you wanted to buy it. I may, or may not, have gone in and fixed all the chapter headings and the front matter page to look a little cleaner, but nothing important changed.

I’ve been working on little edits all day, mostly changing placeholder names to ones I actually like. (Goodbye: Alex, Brandon, Aaron, Jonathan.) Swapping out all the asterisks for italics now that I’m not jumping between Scrivener and Grammarly.

Um, yep. That’s it, have a good weekend.

Another Draft Done

Look at that, my title is relevant to the post. Another draft of Out of Light is done, coming in at ~110k words. Before you get too excited, I have to do this at least two more times.

Who am I kidding, get excited. I sure as hell am.

Hello readers. Decided I needed to make a post since the sale mentioned in the previous post was over. So hi, how’s it goin’?

Lots of Out of Light editing this week, I always get into a frenzy near the middle. First I procrastinate before a certain chapter, then I rush through the rest because I get too caught up in it!

Out of Darkness Sale Thingy

Out of Darkness is on sale this week, in case you wanted to know that. Here’s a nifty link https://www.amazon.com/dp/B079PSMDJR We’ll call it the “Tweaked Cover Sale” or something like that. Sounds legit. Only the eBook version because that’s just how it rolls I guess.

That’s the whole post, I didn’t think of anything else to write while I was typing that. So here is a picture of some kittens I wish existed.

Well, obviously they exist, just not in those colors.

New Cover for Out of Darkness

Okay, well that’s not quite right. It’s not new so much as tweaked a bit. And the paperback now has a proper spine and back cover! But “new cover” is easier to say than “Slightly different cover for Out of Darkness that now also includes a back cover and spine.”

I got the proof copy yesterday, and even with the huge “Not for Resale” across the front it’s still pretty. That’s the entire post, I don’t have any other updates or things to say.
