The Haunting of God (A ridiculous short story.)

Yesterday on Twitter someone posed a question that made me spout off some nonsense. (As is prone to happen with me.) And I wrote this last night while trying to fall asleep.

It amused me, so I thought I’d share. I hope it amuses at least one other person.

Out of Light Excerpt

Hello, lovely readers.

I decided to post a bit of Chapter 1 of Out of Light. I don’t know why, just seemed like the thing to do. I will note, however, that you should remember that this is not a final draft. It still needs a pass by a real editor, another pass by me, and any beta reader I manage to sufficiently bribe. Everything contained in this excerpt is subject to change, polish, and/or deletion.

This is a significant amount of time after Out of Darkness ended, and that’s all I’ll say about that. Enjoy 🙂

Sale? Apparently?

Hi lovely readers,

For some reason, Amazon put Out of Darkness on sale (The paperback version at least) for $7.51. That’s cool. So I’m sharing that information with y’all. In case you wanted to buy it. I may, or may not, have gone in and fixed all the chapter headings and the front matter page to look a little cleaner, but nothing important changed.

I’ve been working on little edits all day, mostly changing placeholder names to ones I actually like. (Goodbye: Alex, Brandon, Aaron, Jonathan.) Swapping out all the asterisks for italics now that I’m not jumping between Scrivener and Grammarly.

Um, yep. That’s it, have a good weekend.

The break was apparently what I needed as the editing is going a bit more smoothly now. I even wrote a rough outline of another book in the War of the Sisters world. (And some completely unrelated things, but we’re ignoring those for now.)
